LONG LONG LONG TIME EVER

I haven't been blogging for so long....

I was in Korea when I wrote my last post...

Now, here I am, Singapore! Again.....

Well, I got into university of nevada las vegas...

It's not so bad.. At least I dun have to go school on friday... YEAH!

Long time...

Wah.. I didn't update my blog for like 3 weeks??
Well I was crazy over Facebook.. Since my Facebook was bombing!
I came back to Spore like last week... I'm so used to this country...

Anyway I got accepted by UNLV; University of Nevada Las Vegas.
Bachelor degree in Hotel management. I'm waiting for my student pass..
Still got like 1 more month to endure... I'm rottening at home..

FINALLY!!!

I got my driving lisence!!! Yeah!
I took 3 weeks to accomplish it! I was one of the fastest in academy!
I'm so happy right now.
Tmw I gotta go to AnSan Driving Centre to obtain a lisence... MUHAHAHA!
I'm getting international lisence as well... although I gotta pay 7000 won.. which is like $7 in Singapore... Cheap Baskets...

Anyway I'm so happy right now! Ciao!

Big cooking day...

I tried new cooking recipe tdy and it was success! Muhahaha!

It's Min Ho's Spicy Fish Soup! (매운탕)

Firstly prepare all the ingredients.

wash and cut nicely.

Secondly, make a soup sauce.

It's mixture of korean spicy sauce, spicy flake, soya sauce, vinegar and something special. :p

Thirdly boil water with raddish for 40 min.

So that it'll have deep flavour.

Fourthly, aft 40 min, put fish into it.

And boil for another 30 min.

Fifthly, aft 30 min, put soup sauce into a pot.

It looks like that. :)

Aft soup is boiling, put all the vege into it.

And boil it for a while and Spicy Fish soup is ready! :)

It tastes just like other ppl's spicy fish soup! YUMMY!

Tmw is my last exam for driving! If I manage to pass tmw's one, driving lisence will be out!

2Days 1Night; 1박2일

Well, Saturday afternoon, I went to my grandma's house coz my dad was going to the gathering and I had nothing to do at home. Plus, my grandma house got Cable TV! And nobody lives there.

I was enjoying watching Cable TV. It was fun.

Around 3am, I got bored. So to buy some drinks, I went out... Then this machine caught my eye!

It was Chewing Gum Machine. It's like the Doll machine in Singapore. You insert a coin, you get to move the crane and catch chewing gum. Well, with 2000 Won, which is like $2 in Singapore, I got 5 tries. And I guess I was genius about it. I managed to catch and drag so many chewing gums and other stuff. Let me show u.

WOW! Top is the chewing gum which costs like $1 per one.

Left long stuff is like something you can eat.

The others are sweets, key chain and fan (2 big heads)

So for $2, I got pretty lots of stuff. YEAH. I calculated....

It worths $15!!!! HAHAZ! I'm genius of catching...

When I got back, I fell asleep with HUGE SMILE! (:

First time on the road...

Finally I drove on the road... It was quite scary and exciting for me...
Well.. Those stupid Koreans just anyhow cross the road and make me nervous....
i'm taking a test on 18th.. If I pass, I'll get my very first driving lisence on the spot...
But Korea's traffic is horrible... and those crazy drivers... Haiz..

Ah....

Well, I didn't update my blog for past 3 days... I was too lazy to do it... :p

Ytd I passed my practical driving. 100 out 100. :) It was 12 min course, but I went through in 7 min. I guessed I was too nervous that I drove fast. So finally I got my practical driving lisence. Well, it's not driving lisence. I only can drive on the road with the lecturer. Completion of 15 hours, I'll be able to take my final exam; driving on the road. Then I'll get my driving lisence if I pass. :p

Hopefully I can pass....

Funny Day

Finally I've started observing funny points abt Korea...
Just now around 10pm in Korean time (9pm in Sing), I was going to return comic books.
So as usual I was walking slow and enjoying the fresh air... Well it was not that fresh though..
Aft returning them, I was very very very slowly walking towards home...
Then I spotted a long black colour thing was moving at the edge of street.
It was too dark that I couldn't see clearly from far. And when I got close by the edge of street, I realised that was just a normal person who was wearing black jacket and black pants. He didn't look like a theif, luckily. As I walked pass, I heard some water-dropping noise.
OMG! and HOLLY MOTHER! He was just peeing there. ^.^
It's just very normal for Korean uncles to pee anywhere at night since they get drunk.
So I couldn't just see and walk pass, so I went near him and talked to him!
The fun was just starting.... MUHAHAHA!

Firstly, uncle was thinking that I was a police so he stopped peeing and held it. LOL!
And sooner or later he realised I was not. Then he just unzipped and started peeing again.

'Uncle! You can't pee here!'

I was raising a voice that he would get embrassed. Well, I was wrong. He didn't care much.

'You are just a student right? Ah, come on, it's normal for a guy.'

I was like... ㅡ.ㅡ Yah, it's quite true... :p
I do that whenever I go drink with Shehantha. Thank u for teaching me those stuff.

But! I believed I had to correct him so that we can make our country better.
Now I sound like some kind of idiot... Well, but that moment I was just trying to enjoy. :p

'Ugly Korean...'

The moment that I spoke English, he looked quite puzzled...

'U... U... U... American?'

Yah, that's what all Koreans think. Everytime someone speaks English,
Koreans think 'IT'S AMERICAN!'
Well, the truth is, they only know how to speak 'american' in English. :(

'No, I'm not American. It doesn't matter, you are just UGLY KOREAN!'

Well, some of you will be thinking that why I use 'Ugly' on Korean.
It's very common Americans for saying 'ugly' on Koreans. Well, I'm not that surprised.
We spit on the ground, smoke everywhere although it says no smoking, talk loud, push ppl anyhow, pee anywhere on the street... Blah blah blah. So in a way, Koreans hate to hear 'UGLY'.

'Ummmm.. this... this... this... ok... ok?'

Can you guess wat uncle was trying to say?
Hahaz. Well, I'm Korean so although he spoke Konglish, I still could understand.
What he meant is 'It's ok to pee here, ok?'
Well, after that I just ignored him coz I lost my interest. :p Though I had a good laugh on the way home. :)

WAT A LUCKY DAY!!!!

Acutally, it's not lucky... it's happy. :p

Well, I passed my driving theory test 1 tdy!!! HOO-RAY!

Plus, among 120 ppl, I got second highest!!!

97.5 out of 100!!! WOW! I think aft my primary sch, I never got this high mark... LOL...

Anyway I was over the moon, as a reward for myself, I borrowed 13 comic books tdy.. :)

And as usual I prepared dinner for my dad.

Even Shatec cooking lecturer didn't teach me this way.. :p

Genius of driving :p

Tdy I praciticed driving and I managed to master all the courses.

I only learned driving for 3 hours! Yah, it was quite amazing...

The lecturers were like kinda surprised after they heard that I only learned driving for 3 hours then I managed to pass all the courses. There is total 18 courses, if i'm not wrong.

Anyway I'm getting auto lisence, not manual... so I'll say it's pretty easy to get it.

Tmw I got such a big test... Driving theory test 1.... I must get at least 60 out of 100... which is like easy? U don't even have to study for it... So my driving lessons are going well...

I was so bored til I finally joined Facebook... Omg.. Within two days I got like 85 friends!

Holly Shit.. It was even faster than Friendster... Facebook is kinda confusing yet fun.

Nothing much to write tdy.. coz it was BORING~! :p

Ah, normal boring life...

Saturday....

Normally saturday night I'll go drinkinking, clubbing, hanging out or playing cards with my friends.... in Singapore...

But in Korea... Haiz.. Sigh.. I'm just reading comic books and preparing dinner for my dad..

Yah, my dad is working on saturday as well.. Doctors... Such miserable life.. but with lots of money...

Ytd was my lunar birthday so my whole family chatted together... and my mom reminded me that this year month 'may' is repeating once more, so in a way, I'm having 3 birthdays...

One was yesterday, other one is on 9th of june, another is on 28th of june... WOW... Such a nice year to be 20 years old in Korea...

This evening my dad called me out coz ytd we didn't celebrate my birthday coz I was too lazy to go out... But I rejected his offer again, coz I prepared our dinner... Everything was made by me.

Top black coloured pot is Kimchi soup with pork.

Below right is pan-fried pork, left is steamed pork.

Two small dishes are sesame oil with pepper (left), and korean spicy chilli sauce (right)

Between the rice is Kimchi.

I spent like an hour to finish every dishes in the picture. Well I must say it was done very nicely. Nothing was burnt or uncooked. As you can see, Koreans love pork. Muslims, no offend. This is our nature. I supposed to buy cabbage or lettuce so that we can eat pork in 'Korean way', but again, I was too lazy to make my move to vegetable shop... 1km away from my house.. No way..

Let me brief you abt 'Korean way' to eat pork. Just imagine there is a lettuce. Firstly, u open up the lettuce, put a small amount of rice, which is roughly half of spoon, on the lettuce, put pork on the rice, put any sauce u like, normally chilli sauce, some ppl will put galic as well, fold the lettuce to cover up everything like a sphere and put into ur mouth and chew... Such a nice way to eat.

My driving theory test is on tuesday... I'm so so so so lazy to study... Haiz.. I must get 60 out of 100... which i find it super simple but my dad is nagging abt it.. :p

Now, my dad is studying next to me. Most of my childhood, I watched him studied most of the time.. That's wat makes him in present. Well I guess I have to open the book and read at least...

Driving is fun!! Heh... ^.^

Ok, Practical suits me more than theory...

I drove a car for 1 hour with very slow speed... but it was damn exciting!!! Muhahaha

My practical lecturer for tdy was a funny guy...

His Konglish was very very very funny... For example, he was showing off how much he's good at English.. WOW... I basically couldn't stop laughing...

I was very lucky tdy. I bought a scatching lucky draw for fun which costs me $0.50.

but on the spot I've won $50... HEH.. droll....

So I spent $10 for my lunch and $40 for Black Devil...

So I was reading comic books after I got home. Soon, my dad came.

I realised in Korea, we follow lunar way... not English way...

So straight away I checked the calander... yeah, my birthday is tmw..

And I'll be turning 2o years old...

So I spent my last year of teenager for driving, reading comics and do laundry...

SHIT...

But tdy's dinner was good. No explantion needed, just see the picture.

Koreans are stupid, dumb, assholes, ummm wat else?

It was totally shit....

My first driving lesson was theory and I was so disappointed that I have to pay so much to listen to shit.. That's wat happened to me in Shatec.. And here we go, my driving centre's lecturer was just wasting my time...
It was 3 hours lesson with 3 breaks of 10 min... Wat lecturer did was just passed the safety book and read for us... Shit, that's wat I can do by myself! And he was shooting me with those stupid questions that answers are so obvious... I was bored to death and couldn't stop yawning...

Every single students in same class as me felt the same... 3 aunties from my class even went to the office to compalin abt it... Auntie, just leave him alone or else we have to listen to that lecture again T.T

Anyway, tdy was nothing much.. No big happening neither funny shits...

I realised that travelling alone without friends is NOT FUN AT ALL. It feels lonely and shit.

I came back to Korea finally after spending my time in Singapore for 8 years... Well, lots of things have been changing... Although people's manner is still the same... They are rude, idiotic, selfish and they think that they are the best country people over the world... Let me tell ya, in a good way, Koreans are just dreaming big... We don't even have the sentence, 'You're welcome.'

Of course, Koreans are jealous over other people's good wealth and health which I find it quite stupid. If you want it, you do it, dumbo. You don't have to talk abt other ppl. More you talk abt them, morea u will not get those things. Let action do, not talking.

In the driving centre, I saw this one super mega extremely pretty girl... WOW...
Although I could see that she did surgery with plastic :P

Anyway I start to hate my own country people... I was thinking why I should be Korean? They are so dumb enough to be divided into two countries, walk so fast, try to act like as if they can speak English which they can't, try to look good with those plastics on their face, boobs and hips, ALWAYS ask for discount, look down on each other, complain.. blah blah blah... Shit too many reasons..

Koreans... Get a life!!! Living with full purpose and don't always be hungry for money and reputation!

It's sad that I'm one of those idiots since I'm Korean, but I'm glad that I live my life with full purpose and I have a dream, assholes. This is my first time being proud of myself..

Getting used to the weather...

Finally!!! I join the driving centre to obtain my driving lisence.. MUHAHAHA!
They said I'll take it within 2 weeks. YEAH!

Anyway, I'm getting used to the weather.. or should I say Korea is getting hot?
Tdy morning temperature was 12ºC, afternoon was 28ºC, night was 10ºC...
I love afternoon time. It's like Singapore's weather but cooler.. Hehe..

I've been renting out so many comic books... The book rental house that I go everyday, they told me that I have borrowed more than 100 comic books in 3 days... And I borrowed 12 more comic books tdy. Renting a comic book costs u $0.30 (Singdollar). If you borrow 10 comic books, they will rent you 2 books free; Take 10, get 2 Free.

I went down to hospital coz I need to check my eye sight for driving purpose. The doctor said

'You are quite amazing that you are walking around without glasses...'

Yah Right... They just wanna sell off their stupid looking glasses to me in super mega extremely high price. I told them I don't need glasses coz my eye sight meets requirement for driving. Plus, HELLO?! my dad is a doctor.. He got so many doctor friends that I even can get plastic surgery FREE... Although I am not willing to do.. :p

For my lunch, I went down to LotteRia, fast food restaurant that from Korea, and ordered 'Korean beef burger' set. SHIT SHIT SHIT. I regretted like SHIT. The burger was so small and the price was unreasonable... U imagine that in Singapore, Double cheese burger is $2 and McSpicy is $4 for ala carte. In Korea, beef burger like double cheese burger is like $5 but chicken burger like McSpicy is $1.5 in fast food restaurant.. Ah, Shit....

I took away the set to come home and eat. And the another shit thing is, I forgot to take STRAW! BUT one thing I really dun understand is that the employee helps me to put ketchup into the take-away bag. but never put a STRAW for me... Some Koreans are just idiotic...


I'm one of them... LOL

My dad was cute for a while...

At dawn, a sudden call from Sunny, so I forced myself to wake up and get out from the house.
Coz my dad had to wake up at 6am to go to work. So I talked to her from 2am till 3.30am...
Then I decided to go to lanshop and stay there til 6am coz I didn't want to disturb my dad...
Around 4.30, there was a call from my dad and he was asking me to be back at home right that time. So I rushed in. The moment that I step into the house, my dad asked me,

'You do have a secret that you can't tell me, don't you?'

I was puzzled... Why I would want to hide from my dad? He even knows that I love smoking and drinking.

'No?'

That was my straight answer... Plus that time, I was soooooo urgent to pee.. HEHE.
I was in bathroom, doing.. Eh Hem! My dad asked me again,

'Do you like MEN?'

'MEEEE? Like MEN? Dad, you must be thinking something wrong...'

Then one stupid idea went through my thought.

'Dad, I think you heard Seung Yeon [Girl's name] (Sunny) as Seung Hyeon [Boy's name]...'

'You make a call at outside with a guy, obviously I'll think that you got something hiding there'

'....................'

'I was abt to call ur mom and scold her, coz she and your sis always nagged at you..'

Ah, That's true. You got a good point there, dad. Haha Anyway, we were giggled all night.

We talked til 6am... so my dad didn't get enough sleep. Before he goes to work, he questioned me,

'Who is Sunny's boyfriend?'

'Nicholas, Singaporean, same as me... blah blah blah'

'Tell him that coz of him, I have to assume that my son was a gay and I didn't get enough sleep for myself, so I'll be flying to Singapore tmw to give him a tight slap on the ass!'

That was soooo not like my dad. LOL.



I supposed to go driving centre tdy to start my lesson, but money is coming at night so I gotta postpone it.. Wat a boring life.. Shit...

Oh.. It's freezing!!!

I've been busy going out these days so I couldn't update my blog....

U knw... The blog and msn are only way for me to speak English... Other than that, why would I use English in Korea?

Anyway the picture next to me is for Shehantha, my dearest Sri Lanka brother. The left side cigarette is Blackstone's Vanila flavoured Cigar which cost $7 (Sing dollar) with 5 sticks, the right side, smaller black box is wat I have always been saying in Singapore, ya, it's Black Devil; Cappuccino flavoured Cigarette which cost $4 with 20 sticks. And of course, the person behind the cig box is ME who you miss the most in the world :p

Anyway, tdy i've met my other friend who had studied together with me in Singapore. To meet her, I had to take 1hr 30min journey of subway (MRT) for one way. For return...

Of course u all can calculate.. I assume...

We had dinner, went to karaoke and had some drink to heat up my body...

Tdy was extremely cold for me... 12ºC in the morning, 14ºC in the evening...

Oh ya, big news for u guys, Korea's ex-president suicided this morning; 24th of may.

Anyway No big deal for me...

Firstly, it's cold for Singaporean and ppl who used to live in hot weather country.

Plz dun expect that all Koreans speak English.... You are wrong...

Koreans are too rushing and hot-tempered. I got pushed by few uncles tdy for not walking fast enough. Screw them...

Finally in Korea...

Staying in other country for 8 years almost made me go crazy...
However finally I'M IN KOREA!
So this is what happened in airplane...
I was frozen to death...
I was wearing one t-shirt, jacket and blancket for the top and one SHORT pants and other blancket for my bottom...
Not only that time I was just next to the 'death door'.
When I stepped out from airport.... once again, I was frozen to death...
It was 14 celcius degree... Just 6 hours ago, I was in Singapore; 34 celcius degree.
Then I dropped by my uncle's house who picked me up at airport.
Eat ginseng chicken soup for breakfast and jjajangmyun (black noodle) for lunch...
Finally I came to my dad's house... which all the flies rushed to me when I opened the door...
I sprinted to E-mart which is one of the biggest shopping mall in Korea, buy those spray stuff.
I changed my hair style and dyed my hair. It looks cool :) I really like it!
Tomorrow I suppose to go out with my primary schoolmate but I don't know what will happen.
Coz she's kinda not so sure what to do.
